Being one of the industry leaders in smart home devices and app platforms (SmartThings), Samsung wanted to create a smart home experience showroom at their flagship retail locations.
We created a multi-entry point experience, featuring a unique smart device. Each device allowed customers to interact with an on-screen demo and discover a connected living “WOW” moment. And each demo video was physically tied to actual smart devices that could be controlled via a canned SmartThings app, like lightbulbs, door locks, blinds and more.
As the CD/creative lead, my responsibilities included handling and overseeing the concept, design, experience design, video production, development handoff as well as the physical showroom layout. We were able to hit key metrics such as increasing level of engagement, raising awareness of Samsung smart devices and how they work together, as well as 3rd party cross-promotions.
