Samsung asked us to create a retail experience for the debut of their Galaxy S10/10+ that allowed the customer to learn about the new device and new features.
As co-creative lead and UX/UI design lead, I championed the first of its kind (for Samsung), in-app user experience with no-dead ends. I helped break down the walls between the retail experience and native phone use with interstitials that intuitively redirected customers to relevant demos whenever they drifted off the experience.
We were excited to see that customers welcomed a totally integrated retail experience app that worked hand-in-hand with the native phone experience and that our endless usability testing allowed us to make significant improvements to the experience.
