Got to work on this cool T-Mobile project with the folks over at Symmetry Labs and WONGDOOGY.
The ask from T-Mobile was to create a nationwide in-store augmented reality experience that features a variety of Pride 3D icons. The experience, which is part of T-Mobile’s larger #UnstoppableTogether campaign, aims to shine a spotlight on the LGBTQ+ community for Pride Month.
In-store users access the AR experience by scanning a QR code found on various posters in T-Mobile locations across the nation. Once scanned, users are taken to a landing screen where a beautiful rainbow appears with a message from T-Mobile that reads “Happy Pride Month”. Next, users are asked to choose a Pride icon and place it in their physical space. Users can choose between six icons including a unicorn, a rainbow, a Pride flag, hearts, a T-Mobile Pride logo and the words love stacked on top of each other. Once the icon is chosen, users can snap a photo and share it for Pride Month.
